Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about PMU Brow Consultation.

We'll discuss your brow goals, assess skin type and facial structure, review style options and pigments, explain healing and aftercare, and determine if you're ready to schedule the full PMU service. The consultation helps you make an informed decision.

Consultations typically last 30 to 45 minutes. This allows time for a thorough facial and skin analysis, brow mapping discussion, pigment previews, Q&A, and personalized recommendations. Extended consultations may be scheduled for complex cases.

We provide color matching with pigment swatches and demonstrate mapping shapes, but we do not perform permanent strokes during consultation. Any temporary sketching is for preview only. Actual PMU application occurs during the booked service.

Yes. If you decide to book your PMU appointment within the specified window, your consultation fee is credited toward the service. Policies and timeframe vary, so confirm at booking; cancellations or rescheduling may affect credit eligibility.

Certain conditions—pregnancy, breastfeeding, active infections, recent peels or Botox, keloid tendencies, autoimmune disorders, or blood-thinning medications—may require medical clearance or postponement. Bring your medical history and we'll advise on safe timing.

We may recommend a patch test for clients with sensitive skin or allergy concerns. While not always mandatory during consultation, scheduling a patch test before the PMU procedure ensures pigment compatibility and reduces risk of reactions.
